The Friendship Club Autism Social is an event that takes place almost every month at St. Anastasia Activity Center
in Troy, Michigan. It is an opportunity for teens and young adults within the autism spectrum, including individuals with Asperger syndrome & Pervasive Development Disorders, to get together & have fun!
We have all types of activities including: video games, ping pong, basketball, floor hockey & board games. We even have a DJ that plays all the latest hits for those who enjoy dancing. The Friendship Club is run by volunteers.
Parents and siblings are welcome to come. Siblings should be 12 years or older, please, as this event is geared for
teens/young adults.
***We urge you to always check this website on the day of the social to make sure the event has not been cancelled
due to an emergency, bad weather or other unforeseen problem.
Cost: $5.00 per person. Or...$15.00 per family for 3 or more people (Unless specified otherwise)
This includes snacks, pizza/salad, pop and also helps us with the expenses of running the socials.
The socials are all organized and handled by volunteer coordinators.
***This is not a "facilitated" event and volunteers/organizers cannot be responsible for attendees so parents/guardians are encouraged to stay at the events.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We appreciate your help during our socials! If you can help us set up, serve pizza,
monitor the gym during basketball or hockey or help clean up afterward, please talk with the coordinators at the social.
We especially need help at 11pm with clean up and rearranging tables/chairs, etc...
All help is greatly appreciated as everything is run by volunteers.
