The Friendship Club Autism Social is an event that takes place almost every month. We have all types of activities including: -Video Games, Board Games, Corn Hole (Bring your own board games if you like.) - DANCING! Our DJ plays great music starting at 9:30pm! - TALENT SHOW - Show off your singing, art work, poems, jokes, guitar/piano playing, etc...(1-3 minutes per performance) - Pizza & Refreshments are provided. The Friendship Club is run by volunteers. Parents, siblings (over 13 years old), friends are welcome to come. Attendees need to be 13 years or older as this event is geared for teens/young adults.Ages range from 13 yrs, to 30's.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
This is NOT a "facilitated" event and volunteers/organizers cannot be responsible for attendees.
We encourage parents/care providers to stay at the events at all times at every event because volunteers are not able to provide care or monitor behavior.
*** First time attendees may not be dropped off and left at the event without a parent/caregiver.
Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!We appreciate your help during our socials! If you can help us set up, serve pizza, monitor the video game rooms. or help clean up afterward, please talk with the coordinators at the social. *We especially need some "guys" to stay a little longer at the end of the night between 11:00-11:30pm and help us move tables/chairs - Please stay and help us out if you can!
