IMPORTANT NOTICE!!! PLEASE READ! Our Socials May be Ending..... This year marks 17 years that our volunteer coordinators, John and Lecia have been organizing the Friendship Club Autism Social at St. Anastasia Activity Center. John's son, Ryan, has played a vital role all these years by supplying and maintaining all of the video games &, consoles as well as setting up and breaking down the game rooms through the years. At this time, we find it is necessary to step back and transition the responsibilities to other volunteers who can take over. We would like to see the socials continue at St. Anastasia under the wings of a couple of other volunteers who would be willing to fully commit and take over responsibility of the entire event...the promotion, planning, set-up, running and clean-up of the event. We would help guide those that are interested to take over with the transition. If no one is willing/able to fully commit to run the socials, we will need to terminate the event sometime this year. We will announce our final date. If you are interested and fully committed to take full responsibility to run this social event, please send an email to us at:email@example.com Thank you!!!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!We appreciate your help during our socials! If you can help us set up, serve pizza, monitor the gym during basketball or hockey, monitor the video game rooms... or help clean up afterward, please talk with the coordinators at the social. *We especially need some "guys" to stay a little longer at the end of the night between 11:00-11:30pm and help us move tables/chairs - Please stay and help us out if you can!
